After a picture went viral from Asauthar police station premises in Fatehpur district of Uttar Pradesh, there has been a stir in the police department. In the viral picture, a woman is seen lying injured on the platform of the police station premises, while some other people are seen sitting there waiting for something. After the matter came to light, not only questions have been raised on the insensitivity of the police, but discussions have also intensified regarding the system and cleanliness of the police station. According to the information, this woman is a resident of Semri village of Asauthar police station area. On the evening of July 18, the woman’s husband Chetpal Paswan was asking for money for liquor. When the wife refused to give money, he lost his temper and attacked the woman with an iron crowbar kept in the house. The woman fell unconscious after being severely hit on the head. After the incident, the woman’s son Rahul immediately admitted his mother to the hospital, where her condition improved a little after primary treatment. The next day on July 19, Rahul reached Asauthar police station with his mother and gave a written complaint against his father, giving information about the whole case. However, it is alleged that despite waiting for hours in the police station, no action was taken, due to which the woman lay down on the platform after getting tired and dizzy. During this, someone took a picture of this scene and made it viral on social media, which has raised questions on the functioning of the police station. It can be clearly seen in the picture that the premises of the police station are filled with dirt, garbage is scattered all around and water is also leaking. In such a situation, the indifference of the police towards the convenience and health of the complainants is also being exposed. When the police station in-charge inspector Abhilash Tiwari was talked to in this case, he told that, โOn the complaint of son Rahul, a case has been registered against the accused Chetpal Paswan and he has been arrested and sent to the court. The woman was lying down due to dizziness, someone took a photo and made it viral on social media in a wrong way. The allegations are baseless.
