Mirzapur. Katra police station has arrested the accused of misbehaving and forcibly raping a woman. The victim woman had given a written complaint against the named accused for molestation, obscene acts and threats. Katra police station has registered a case against the accused under sections 75(2), 351(3) BNS and started investigation. Senior Superintendent of Police “Somen Burma” took the incident seriously and directed the Inspector in charge of Katra police station under the leadership of City Circle Officer to arrest the accused. In continuation of the instructions, the police of Kotwali Katra police station, in the course of investigation and further investigation action, today on the basis of information received from an informer by Sub-Inspector Mahendra Kumar Yadav along with his police team, near Bhaisahiya Tiraha under Police Station Kotwali Katra, arrested the named accused Deep Soni, son of Santosh Soni, resident of Agarwal Colony, Bhaisahiya Tola, Police Station Kotwali Katra, District Mirzapur, under Section 64(2)D, 351(3)123 BNS, and further action is being taken as per rules.
