Discussion on the boundary wall of Ram Mandir

High-tech boundary wall, museum and lighting plan worth Rs 45 crore finalised in Ram Mandir premises. Ram Mandir Nirman Samiti chairman Nripendra Mishra said after an important meeting of the construction committee that the construction work of the 4 km long boundary wall of the temple complex will start in the next 15 days. State-of-the-art security equipment, sensors and watch towers will be installed in it so that any unauthorized entry is reported immediately. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 45 crore. He said that the outline of the museum construction has been prepared. Historical references related to the movement, the role of the agitators, will be shown through 3D and mixed reality technology. Its tender will be issued today itself. The target is to open the museum for devotees by March 2026. On the progress of temple construction, Mishra said that the work is in the final stage and the construction of the temple complex will be completed by December 2025. The process of transfer from the trust has also started. Expressing dissatisfaction over the lighting design of the facade, he said that the models of three companies were not satisfactory. The emphasis will be on highlighting the iconography of the Kalash, Dum and the temple through a balance of light and shadow. The companies have been asked to submit their presentation on the new design, which will be presented in the next meeting. While giving priority to clear naming of the four main gates and peace in the temple premises, excessive glaring lighting will be avoided.
