Kanpur, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Dipendra Nath Chaudhary conducted a public hearing at his office. During the public hearing, he heard the problems of the common people and gave necessary instructions to the concerned for their solution. Public complaints were heard on priority basis and the concerned officers were instructed to solve these problems in a timely manner. To ensure that there is no delay in resolving the complaints, the concerned policemen were instructed to take prompt action and inform the complainant about the solution. Visitors and victims should be treated respectfully and proper seating arrangements should be made. The problems of all the complainants should be heard carefully and patiently and resolved quickly. Problems that arise repeatedly at the local level were asked to be resolved on priority.
