The meeting of the Governing Body of the District Health Society was held at the Collector’s Office, Anand under the chairmanship of District Collector Shri Praveen Chaudhary in the presence of District Panchayat President Shri Hasmukhbhai Patel and District Development Officer Ms. Devahuti. The proceedings of the meeting dated 12-03-2025 were approved by the Collector Shri and the District Development Officer Shri, and all the program committees under the District Health Society were asked to review and plan the physical and financial performance of the year 2024-25 and June-2025, review the performance under the Quality Improvement Program, vaccination, measles-rubella, maternal mortality and child mortality and take necessary action to prevent maternal mortality and child mortality. Apart from this, the Collector reviewed the work of family planning, National Tobacco Control Program, National Tuberculosis Eradication Program, testing pregnant women for tuberculosis, completing regular treatment of patients, distribution of nutrition kits to tuberculosis patients, and prevention of deaths due to tuberculosis in detail. District level health society officials, Dr. Smriti Vaishnav of Sri Krishna Hospital, Dr. Nayanaben Patel of Keval Hospital, Dr. Mahendrabhai Padhiyar of Sanjeevani Hospital Borsad, and Gynecologist Hidans of Petlad were present in this meeting.
