In protest against the broken potholed roads of Kanpur, especially in the southern region, and the severe waterlogging in them during the rains, today, under the leadership of Kanpur Metropolitan Congress President Pawan Gupta and Metropolitan General Secretary and Women Cell Incharge Sita Agnihotri, a large number of women associated with the Congress stood on the broken potholed bloody roads of Barra 2, offered flowers, lit incense sticks and paid symbolic tribute to the broken bloody roads, thus highlighting the plight of Kanpur. President Pawan Gupta said that under the campaign to expose the false and paper development of the BJP government, today the Kanpur Metropolitan Congress exposed the dilapidated condition of the roads, the problems being faced by the common people due to the broken potholed roads and the insensitivity of the government. Kanpur Metropolitan President Pawan Gupta said that the situation in the south is like hell while the MP, Mayor, MLA are from the BJP. Pawan Gupta said that the life of the common people, businessmen, laborers is miserable. Women are suffering the most. The entire Kanhe is suffering from broken roads or bloody roads. The BJP government promised a smart city and turned it into a pothole city. Every day there are reports of accidents due to waterlogging and potholes and even people losing their lives. But the government and the administration are not bothered.
