Government veterinary hospital worth lakhs of rupees is in bad shape

The condition of the Government Veterinary Hospital located in Kursi Kheda village of Rasulabad tehsil area of Kanpur has become pathetic. This building, built at a cost of lakhs of rupees, now only has empty liquor bottles and weeds. The farmers of 12 villages connected to this hospital are facing a lot of trouble. In the absence of a doctor, they either have to resort to quack doctors for their sick cattle or have to go to Kakwan and Rasulabad. According to local farmer Guru Din, this problem has been there for the last 6 years. The building is continuously turning into ruins and has become a den of anti-social elements. Farmer Ram Prakash said that despite complaining several times, there has been no improvement in the situation. When Dr. Shiv Pratap Singh posted at the veterinary hospital was contacted in this regard, he first said that he sits at the center regularly. But when he was told about the real situation there, he became silent and disconnected the phone. Due to the poor condition of this veterinary hospital, the farmers of the area are facing problems in getting services ranging from treatment of cattle to insemination. This hospital, built by the government for the convenience of farmers, has today become a witness to the indifference of the officials towards its plight.
