MP Dimple Yadav sent a letter to DM and sought information

Mainpuri MP Dimple Yadav has sought answers on 7 points in a letter sent to the District Magistrate. She said that on the instructions of the Uttar Pradesh government, 943 primary schools have been identified in Mainpuri. Out of which 341 schools have been closed and merged or paired with other schools. She has expressed apprehension that this decision will have a direct impact on the education system of thousands of children. She wrote that this decision will directly affect thousands of children and their families. Therefore, proper information about its transparency and impact is necessary. She said that this includes classification of students on the basis of income level and caste classification. She has also sought information about the number of children affected village and block wise. Along with this, documents of consent or objection taken from the parents have also been sought.
