The sugar mill owed the farmers Rs 44 crore sugarcane price of the crushing season 2021-22, due to which the farmers had not received it for several years continuously, due to which an atmosphere of despair had prevailed in the hearts of the farmers and the charm of the markets of Kaptanganj area had disappeared. In a way, the economy was broken. There was difficulty in meeting the daily needs. Some farmers were forced to live by taking money from KCC from the bank and some by relying on MNREGA wages. RC was issued against some farmers for not paying the dues of banks. On the instructions of the government, the sugar mill was sealed by the tehsil administration. After the issuance of RC, the dues reached about Rs 77 crore. On which the administration took a tough stand on the instructions of the Chief Minister, the mill owner started making payments gradually from the month of December and in the month of June, the entire sugarcane price has been paid. The Executive Chairman of the sugar mill, Rakesh Saxena, said that whatever was due to the sugarcane farmers has been paid in full and the mill will be restarted with the cooperation of the farmers. For which the work has been expedited. Farmers are God for us, who supported me in difficult circumstances and will continue to do so in the future as well. The sugar mill will be burnt after meeting them and their prosperity will return. The Executive Chairman also replied to whether the mill will be started this year or from next year, saying that mainly the economy is coming forward. We are trying. On the arrangement of funds, the sugar mill will start from this year itself. The process of appointment of officers and employees in the mill has been speeded up.
