The stampede in Bengaluru was blamed on RCB, permission was not given.

The Karnataka government has submitted a report to the High Court in the case of the stampede that took place during the celebration of the victory of Royal Challengers Bangalore in Bengaluru. This report has held Virat Kohli responsible for the entire incident. It also mentions that there was a lot of serious negligence. A grand ceremony was organized in Bengaluru on June 4 to celebrate RCB’s victory in IPL 2025. In which 11 people died due to a stampede. In the report of this accident, the Karnataka government has shown that Virat Kohli appealed to his fans in the video to join the Victory Parade for free. Due to which a large crowd gathered outside the Chinnaswamy Stadium. The Central Administrative Tribunal held RCB responsible for the stampede. RCB had suddenly announced the Victory Parade on social media without the permission of the police. Due to which lakhs of people gathered. The report submitted by the Karnataka government on the Bengaluru stampede has revealed several serious negligence and mismanagement. The event was organized without permission. The organizer DNA Networks Pvt. Ltd had only informed the police about the event on June 3. But as per the 2009 order, they did not take any necessary permission. Due to which the police refused to give permission to them.
