Violence breaks out again in Bangladesh, 4 dead, nine injured

Bangladesh is burning in the fire of domestic violence. A violent clash took place between the Awami League and the police in Gopalganj, the city of Bangladesh’s father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Four people have been killed in this violence. This violence took place before the agitation of the NCP, the student party that brought down Sheikh Hasina’s government in Gopalganj. According to media reports, Gopalganj was converted into a virtual battlefield on Wednesday. There was arson, violence and firing here throughout the day. The student organization has alleged that four people were killed and many injured due to firing by the security forces. Four people were seriously injured in the indiscriminate firing in this violence. They were shifted to Gopalganj General Hospital for treatment. Where they died. Nine other people were also injured in this firing. They are undergoing treatment in the hospital. But their condition is critical. Four additional teams of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have been deployed in Gopalganj. Security officials have assured strict action against the miscreants. Bangladesh’s Chief Adviser Mohammad Yunus said that a 22-hour curfew was ordered in Gopalganj from 8 pm on Wednesday. A search has been launched for the attackers who attacked the NCP. According to media reports and eyewitnesses, the protesters attacked the security forces including the police and army and the BGB with bamboo sticks and bricks.
