The villagers themselves constructed a road that was incomplete for 70 years

In Majra Rajpur of Ilahabans Gram Panchayat of Kishani Vidhansabha area in Mainpuri district, the villagers have constructed a road on their own level. This road was in bad condition since independence. The villagers appealed to the MLA, Gram Pradhan, Kshetra Panchayat and District Panchayat, but no solution was found. This 400 meter road connecting Ilahabans to Rajpur used to become completely useless in rainy season. School children faced the most problems due to this. There was also a problem in taking patients to the hospital. Many times, there were incidents of patients falling on the way while being taken. But there is no one to listen. Tired of this, the villagers themselves took up the responsibility of building the road and got the road constructed with the cooperation of all the villagers.
