In the incident of the dilapidated bridge between Ajak-Antroli villages near Mangrol in Junagadh district, the administration says that this bridge is not broken but has been demolished. On the instructions of the Chief Minister, the inspection of dilapidated bridges and road repair work is going on in full swing across the state, as part of which some bridges in Junagadh district were also closed after the inspection. The repair work has now been started by the relevant line department in this bridge. However, regarding the incident of the bridge slab breaking near Mangrol, Abhishek Gohil, Executive Engineer of Junagadh District Road Building Department Panchayat, officially said that as part of this operation, the bridge between Ajak and Antroli near Mangrol was found to be dilapidated after the inspection of the officials of the Road Building Department Panchayat and the work of removing its slab was started. This work of demolishing the bridge with a breaker machine was going on, during which a large part of the bridge slab fell down. There was no loss of life or injury. Collector Anilkumar Ranavasia and officials of the construction department have left for the spot. The collector said that for the safety of the people in the district, necessary work is being done by inspecting the bridges that appear dilapidated and as part of which this bridge was being repaired. In fact, this bridge has not broken but has been demolished.
