The smugglers entered the house through the back door and after scattering the household goods, they stole four tolas of gold, gold ornaments and cash worth Rs 17 thousand and fled. In the morning, a neighbor woman informed the owner of the theft and he took action to register a theft complaint at the Sayajiganj police station. Then, after six months, a gang of smugglers struck the area again, spreading fear among the people. Amiruddin Sheikh, who lives near the Nayug School in Fateganj area of Vadodara city, runs a garage for re-leasing two-wheelers. There is a garage shop near his house. Meanwhile, on July 14, all the family members locked the door of the house next to the garage and went to sleep in another house. Meanwhile, late at night, a bike-borne trio attacked to commit theft. The smugglers broke the lock of the front door of Amiruddin Sheikh’s house with a crowbar and entered the house. After that, they ransacked the house. After that, they stole gold ornaments and cash worth Rs. 17,000 from the safe and fled. The next morning, when the neighbor woke up, she informed the landlord about the theft. So Vikrambhai and Amiruddin Sheikh came to their house and checked and found that four tolas of gold ornaments and Rs. 17,000 in cash had been stolen. So Amiruddin Sheikh has started planning to file a complaint at the Sayajiganj police station. It is worth mentioning here that in this area last December, the same bike-borne trio had targeted four houses at once. Including the house of Amiruddin Sheikh. But at that time, they were successful in stealing gold and silver ornaments and cash from two houses. But it is learnt that the property was not recovered from Amiruddin Sheikh and other houses. Then, six months later, these bike-borne smugglers have again struck Fatehganj area to steal, creating an atmosphere of fear among the locals. These thieves are targeting houses late at night, now people are feeling scared even to lock their houses and go out.
