The Chairman and MD of Sabar Dairy have been summoned to Gandhinagar. The Cooperation Minister sought an explanation on the issue of the cattle breeders’ agitation.

Thousands of cattle breeders from Sabarkantha and Aravalli districts are likely to intensify their protest against Sabar Dairy. Yesterday, cattle breeders from both districts raised slogans on the price issue, creating a tense atmosphere near Sabar Dairy. Tear gas canisters were fired to disperse the crowd. More than three police personnel were injured in the incident. The police have registered a complaint against a crowd of 1,000, including 60 cattle breeders and 74 leaders, in all these incidents. For the last two days, cattle breeders have been protesting on the price issue in Sabarkantha’s Sabar Dairy. Yesterday, the protest took the form of a fanfare. There was a clash between the police and cattle breeders, in which 50 tear gas canisters were fired, due to which the MD and chairman of Sabar Dairy have been called to Gandhinagar.
