Ashadh Sud Poonam, Thursday, July 10, the “Guru Purnima Utsav” in the holy presence of Guru Hari Prakthya Brahma Swarup Shri Mahant Swami Maharaj residing in Bochasan brought a priceless opportunity of “Guru Vandana” for thousands of devotees from home and abroad. The “Guru Purnima Utsav”, which is celebrated every year in this great temple built by Brahma Swarup Shri Shastriji Maharaj, the founder of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha, was organized under the central idea this year. A large crowd of devotees and devotees had gathered from early morning to take advantage of the festival celebrated grandly in the large auditorium of “Shri Swaminarayan Bagh” on the highway connecting Vasad-Vataman located in Bochasan. On this occasion, apart from the benefit of the festival gathering, a stream of devotees also gathered at Bochasan Temple to have darshan of Thakorji, for which the volunteers, under the guidance of the venerable saints, made very beautiful arrangements. The “Guru Purnima Festival” gathering began at 8.15 am in the large auditorium of Shri Swaminarayan Bagh with music, prayer, hymns and Guru Mahima Gaan by the saints and youth. Keeping the central idea in mind, the entire program, which was woven with a combination of various lectures, event narrations, video darshans and dances, was interesting for all the listeners. Through the thoughtful and thoughtful lectures of the learned saints and Sadguru saints, the essence of today’s festival and the path of spiritual practice became accessible to all. It is rare to attain a Guru in the form of Aksharbrahm on the spiritual path, but after attaining that, the proper guidance for the sadhana that has to be done to move forward on this path was available at every stage of the festival gathering. The scholar saints Pujya Brahmavihari Swami, Pujya Adarshjivan Swami, Pujya Anand Swaroop Swami and the Sadguru saints Pujya Kothari Swami (Bhaktipriya Swami), Pujya Tyagavallabh Swami, Pujya Ghanshyamcharan Swami, Pujya Viveksagar Swami, etc. presented thoughtful, experiential and memorable speeches on this occasion. On this occasion, Nutan Prakash was released, under which the “BAPS Satsang Gujarati” YouTube channel, “BAPS Swaminarayan Prakash” mobile application were also released. On this occasion, everyone’s beloved Guru Hari Param Pujya Mahant Swami Maharaj blessed us and said, “Serve the Guru with a pure intellect. Keep the habit of pleasing the Guru. If we look into it, go deep and clean the garbage inside, then results will come. We have met supportive Gurus Shastriji Maharaj, Yogiji Maharaj, Pramukh Swami Maharaj, but if we look into it and show preparation, then the work will be done.” At the end of the program, the revered Sadguru saints and senior saints greeted Swamishri with a wreath on behalf of everyone. In the end, all the saints and devotees paid homage to the Guru by offering mantras and flowers to the Supremely Eminent Guru Hari, Param Pujya Mahant Swami Maharaj, who was seated on the stage, remembering Thakorji and all the Gunatit Gurus.
