America increases tension with China, plans to surround it in the sea with its neighbors

Amid tariffs and trade wars, America has increased tensions with its rival China. The USA has recently signed agreements with four Asian countries for 10 coast guard ships. China has territorial disputes with two of them. This move by America is raising fears of increasing tensions in the South China Sea. Media reports have said that in June last month, 12 ships of the Hamilton class cutter, one of the high-capacity coast guard ships of the former America, have reached the Southeast Asian country of Vietnam. The other three ships of the Hamilton class cutter are already operating in the Philippine Navy. Both these countries are in a dispute with China. Vietnam and the Philippines already have the world’s largest coast guard force deployed in the South China Sea. China has rapidly expanded its dominance in the Indian Ocean. America has also given a pair of Hamilton class cutter ships each to Bangladesh and Sri Lanka for their navies. The ship that America has acquired is a former ship of the American Navy. On the issue of this ship transfer, the American Coast Guard Force said that the acquisition of decommissioned ships is in line with the American Indo-Pacific policy. It is helping to strengthen security and maintain partnerships in America.
