Olympics 2036: India officially enters the race to host the Games for the first time

India is taking the initiative to host the Olympic Games for the first time. There have been discussions on this issue from time to time. The work of the stadium being prepared for the Olympics in Ahmedabad is also almost complete. India has officially announced that it has decided to host the 2036 Olympics. On Tuesday, the Indian delegation met the officials of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in Lausanne, Switzerland and officially presented the proposal to host the Olympic Games in the future. The timing of this claim is very important. The IOC had recently announced that it is currently stopping the selection process of the host country for the future Olympic Games. Following this statement, the Indian delegation had a meeting with the IOC. Apart from the President of the Indian Olympic Association, PT Usha, the Indian delegation also included representatives of the Union Sports Ministry and the Gujarat government. The delegation formally presented Ahmedabad as the host city. For the first time in history, India has officially submitted the name of one of its cities to the International Olympic Committee as the host city. The 2032 Olympic Games are to be held in Brisbane, with India eyeing the 2036 Olympics.
