Three dead in first round of rains in Ahmedabad, innocent people lost their lives in Nikol, Odhav and Dariapur

Smart City Ahmedabad The municipal administration has not made enough arrangements to handle two to four inches of rain in a day. In the first round of monsoon, three people have died in Nikol, Dariyapur and Odhav due to the gross negligence of the municipal administration. Then, the opposition leader has demanded that an FIR be filed against the responsible officials who created death wells on the roads for the citizens and that their families be given appropriate compensation. The two to four inches of rain that fell on the east of Ahmedabad on Wednesday evening created a situation where the city was inundated. The roads were flooded, and due to indiscriminate excavations during the monsoon, a two-wheeler driver died when his vehicle fell into a ditch in Odhav, while a person died after getting electrocuted by an exposed wire of a street light in Dariyapur’s Dudhwali Pol during the rains last week.
