The stock market has come into a frenzy after the announcement of a ceasefire between Iran and Israel. Sensex and Nifty closed with attractive gains for the second consecutive day. Investors’ capital has increased by Rs. 3.88 lakh crore. Crude prices also fell due to the reduction in geo-political tensions. Due to which the stock markets improved globally. The Sensex today closed at 82755.51 after jumping 760.8 points intra-day. Nifty rose 200.40 points to close at 25244.75. IT, technology, auto, telecom, healthcare stocks saw a surge today. Upper circuit in 303 stocks Out of the total 4162 stocks traded on BSE today, 2815 stocks improved and 1210 stocks declined. Today, 303 stocks hit the upper circuit. While 109 stocks hit 52-week highs. However, 212 stocks hit the lower circuit and 43 stocks hit the year’s lows. In the sectoral index, IT index closed up 1.68 percent, technology 1.69 percent, auto 1.00 percent, telecom 1.42 percent, consumer durables 1.26 percent.
