Morbi: Lakhdhirpur Gram Panchayat Survey No. 72/1 Pai 1 approved by the order of Deputy Collector Morbi, Devjibhai Gangarambhai Khandhar, a resident of Lakhdhirpur village, has encroached on the government new village land of about 1 bigha, which was earmarked to provide 100 sq.m. plots to poor beneficiaries. In which today, the Taluka Panchayat Office and Lakhdhirpur Gram Panchayat took action under Section 105 of the Gujarat Panchayat Act 1993, in which the pressure was removed when the pressure was not removed voluntarily. In this case, Sarpanch Chandrikaben Kanjibhai Parmar, Upsarpanch Vinodbhai Khodabhai Ahaha, Member Hansaben Bhagwanjibhai Parmar, Talati cum Minister Hetalben A. Gohel, Taluka Development Officer P.S. Paddy, Extension Officer C.M. Bhorania Extension Officer H.D. Ramanuj, Senior Clerk D.C. Detroja and Legal Advisor of District Panchayat Office Sanjay Narola and Morbi Taluka Police Staff Vijaysinh Maheshbhai, Janakbhai Vallabhbhai, Tejalben Vajabhai were present at the spot and the above pressure relief process was completed under the guidance of District Development Officer J.S. Prajapati (IAS). It is worth mentioning that about 1 bigha more government land of the village has been opened in which place the work of handing over 100 square meter plots to the poor beneficiaries will be carried out soon.
