On the second day of the G-7 Summit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with world leaders on important global issues like terrorism, trade and development. Addressing the G-7 Outreach Session held in Kananaskis, Canada, Prime Minister Modi reiterated India’s tough policy against terrorism and called for united and decisive action, considering it a global threat. Prime Minister Modi said, ‘For global peace and prosperity, our thinking and policy should be clear, if any country supports terrorism, it will have to pay the price. There should be no double standards in the action of the international community. On the one hand, we quickly impose various types of sanctions as per our choice, on the other hand, countries that openly support terrorism are rewarded. This double standard should end. Giving information on X, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, “The Prime Minister reiterated India’s stand against terrorism and thanked the leaders for condemning the heinous terrorist attack in Pahalgam. He stressed the need for strong global action against those who encourage and support terrorism.”
