Theft of the treasury of the 143-year-old temple in Manjal (R.)

Mandvi, Date 16: A thief stole a treasure chest from the Rang Mandap of the 143-year-old derasar run by Adeshwarji Maharaj Jain Derasar Trust in Manjal Raildiya village of Abdasa taluka and fled late on Sunday night. The Jain community condemned this incident of theft. Early on Monday morning, priest Satubha Gaguji Sodha saw the doors of the Rang Mandap open and the locks broken. When he went inside and checked, the treasure chest was missing, so he immediately informed the Kothara police and the trustees. The police, who rushed in immediately, conducted an investigation. Anger spread in the Jain derasar following the incident of theft. The Guru Bhagwant, as well as the trustees and community leaders condemned the incident and demanded that strict action be taken against the criminals who committed this act. Seeing the seriousness of the incident, the Kothara police conducted a thorough investigation.
