Even after the completion of road work in Tandalja, Vadodara, there is an uproar as contaminated water is coming to Ward No. 10

Vadodara: Local residents are getting disturbed due to frequent accumulation of dirty water along with drinking water in the area around the bus stand located in ward number 10 at Tandalja in the western area of Vadodara city and are fearing that water-borne diseases will break out in every house due to contaminated water. Despite the local level ward office’s information, no fruitful result has been achieved. If the issues are not resolved, a presentation will be made to the Municipal Commissioner in the coming days. It is worth mentioning that in ward number 10 of Tandalja located in the western area of the city, even though the drainage line work has been completed, the locals have alleged that dirty water is coming mixed with drinking water. The monsoon season has already started and the road work has been completed. However, the problem of dirty water has not been solved. Local residents are fearing the outbreak of water-borne diseases due to the sewage-mixed water. At the local level, the ward office has repeatedly made representations in this regard, but there have been allegations that no fruitful results have been achieved. If clean drinking water is not available in the coming days, a representation will also be made to the Municipal Commissioner.
