The temperature in Rajasthan is continuously rising. The maximum temperature in Sriganganagar was recorded at 49.4 degrees Celsius today. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of relief from the heat in the state due to the possibility of rain from Saturday. According to the Jaipur Meteorological Center, today’s temperature in Sriganganagar is the highest in the last 91 years recorded in June. Earlier, on June 14, 1934, a temperature of 50 degrees Celsius was recorded in Sriganganagar. The temperature in Sriganganagar was 7.9 degrees above normal. The temperature was recorded at 47.6 degrees in Churu, 46.9 in Jaisalmer, 46.4 in Bikaner, 46.3 in Jodhpur, 46.2 in Phalodi and Barmer, 45.4 in Pilani, 45.2 in Lunkarnasar, 45 in Pali and Fatehpur, 44.9 in Chittorgarh, 44.6 in Sangaria, 44.5 in Jhunjhunu, 44.4 in Nagaur and 44.5 degrees Celsius in the state capital Jaipur. Meanwhile, according to the Indian Meteorological Department, the southwest monsoon will cover most of the areas of northwest India by June 25. This year, the southwest monsoon arrived in Kerala on May 24. After four consecutive days of heatwave in the country’s capital Delhi, the city residents got partial relief as the temperature decreased slightly today. An orange alert has been issued in Delhi due to the possibility of thunderstorms.
