Indian Foreign Secretary Shri Vikram Misri visits BAPS Hindu Temple in Abu Dhabi

Indian Foreign Secretary, Shri Vikram Misri was impressed by his visit to the BAPS Hindu Temple in Abu Dhabi. The Chief Saint of BAPS Hindu Temple, Abu Dhabi, Pooja Brahmavihari Das Swami welcomed Shri Vikram Misri along with Joint Secretary for Gulf Affairs Shri Asim Raja Mahajan, Indian Ambassador to the UAE Shri Sanjay Sudhir and the delegation with a floral welcome in front of the ‘Wall of Harmony’ in the temple. Shri Misri was mesmerized by the immersive show ‘The Fairy Tale’, which creatively and excitingly presents the historical creation story of this temple and global values like harmony, respect. Recalling the exclamation expressed by Indian External Affairs Minister Shri S. Jaishankar for this temple – ‘Fairy Tale’ – he said that the creation of this temple is truly like a fairy tale. While touring the entire temple complex, he was deeply impressed by the architecture and spiritual values of the temple. P. Brahmavihari Das Swami explained the profound spiritual message woven into the ‘Harmony Dome’, the representation of harmony between the divine and humanity reflected in it. Shri Misri said that every aspect of the temple, its rich and subtle carvings, beautiful art and craftsmanship is very thought-provoking. He offered prayers after seeing the forms installed in each spire of the temple’s sanctum sanctorum.
