A unique Kedareshwar Mahadev temple will be built in Etawah | Confluence of South-North culture | Akhilesh Yadav

On 7 March 2021, Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav performed Bhoomi Pujan for the construction of Kedarnath Mahadev Temple on the land located on Etawah Gwalior Road. The temple is being constructed with a special granite stone Krishna Purush Shila, which is found only in the whole world near Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu. These stones, considered to be the strongest in the world, are at least 3 lakh years old. Along with the Bhoomi Pujan, a large workshop was started in Kanyakumari where the work of cutting and carving stones was started. A team of 25 skilled craftsmen from Kanyakumari was deployed in Etawah. These include world famous artisans who have also built the world famous statue installed in 2002. The building of the sanctum sanctorum in the National Mahadev Temple of Etawah is also higher than the South Indian temples, in this way it presents a mixed form of the culture of South and North. The height of the sanctum sanctorum building of the Kedarnath Mahadev Temple is 74 feet.
