Mirzapur. Thousands of SP workers from every corner of the district, who came against police harassment, marched on foot from the party office Lohia Trust under the leadership of SP District President Devi Prasad Chaudhary on Monday against the Rajgarh police station in-charge and his policemen, and through the Collectorate to the court, attacked the Superintendent of Police office and staged a strong protest and handed over a memorandum to Senior Superintendent of Police Somen Verma and demanded action. On this occasion, SP District President Devi Prasad Chaudhary said that Rajgarh Pradhan Nandlal Yadav is the Sector In-charge of Baghaura of SP. He was called to the police station and made to sit there without any reason and was beaten up. A case should be registered and action should be taken otherwise SP workers will protest from the road to the Parliament. He said that incidents of murder, loot and rape are happening every day in the district. The police have become autocratic. Action will be taken wherever SP government is formed. On this occasion, Madihan Assembly President Shailesh Patel said that the police of Rajgarh is only engaged in extorting money. Thousands of people including former MLA Rajendra Singh Patel, Ashish Yadav, Ravindra Bahadur Singh, Kirti Kol, Surendra Patel, Damodar Prasad Maurya, Rajesh Bharti, Asha Gautam, Vandana Patel, Adarsh Yadav, Shailesh Patel, Rana Pratap Singh, Jhallu Yadav, Santbir Maurya, Ramji Maurya, Nirala Kol, Ramgopal Bind, Santosh Goyal, Satyaprakash Yadav, Mewalal Prajapati, Saurabh Singh, Abhay Yadav, Kaushik Kanaujia, Shyam Achal Yadav, Prince Rao, Ganesh Keshari, Vikas Keshari, Suryakant Singh, Ranjeet Fauji, Dilip Yadav, Harishankar Yadav, Subhash Patel, Shahnawaz Khan, Jainendra Singh, Rajkumar Yadav, Dr. Shakti Shrivastava, Ashok Yadav, Suresh Patel, Dilip Gupta, Kanhaiya Yadav, Manjeet Yadav, Jamuna Yadav were present in the program.
