In Pahalgam, terrorists killed Hindus by asking their names on May 22, in response to which the Indian Army carried out a military operation under Operation Sindoor, destroying nine terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and causing heavy damage to 11 of its air bases. The Royal Thai Air Force, which showcased India’s military capabilities, has called Operation Sindoor a master class example of modern warfare and said, India has created a record by shooting down a Pakistani aircraft from a distance of 314 km. Senior officers of the Royal Thai Air Force said that the way the Indian Air Force accurately attacked and destroyed targets in Pakistan from a distance, along with demonstrating a multi-layered air defense system, has become a master class example for modern military operations. The Royal Thai Air Force conference in Thailand described the Indian Air Force’s S-400 air defense system, integrated air command and control system and low-altitude, high-speed missiles as a symbol of India’s extraordinary military capabilities. The role of the S-400 missile system in particular has been considered crucial. The Thai Air Force report said that the Indian Air Force used radar evasive routes, precision-guided munitions and indigenous anti-radiation missiles to attack Pakistan under Operation Sindoor, which shows that India has now moved beyond a policy of limited strikes to deep strike deterrence. The Indian attacks destroyed the runway, command center and high-value assets of the Pakistani airbase. India shot down Pakistan’s Swedish-made Saab 2000 AERI Airborne Early Warning and Control (AWOC) aircraft from a distance of 314 km, setting a world record. Till date, no country’s air force has accurately targeted an aircraft from such a distance. The Indian air defence system S-400 accurately targeted the target.
