Newly married woman jumps into canal in Kushinagar, SDRF team begins search*

A newly married woman resident of village Puraina of Kasya tehsil area jumped into Khaprela canal on Monday morning. This created an atmosphere of panic. The woman has been identified as Jyoti (19 years) wife of Guddu. The incident is said to have happened around 6 am. The administration came into action as soon as the local people got information about the incident. The police team that reached the spot immediately informed the higher authorities, after which on the instructions of SDM Kasya Ashutosh Kumar, the SDRF team reached the spot and started relief and rescue work. The reason behind the newly married woman jumping into the canal is not yet known. The woman is being searched by the diving team of SDRF. No trace of her has been found till the time of writing the news.
