Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh Secondary Teachers’ Union Provincial President Harischandra Dixit told during the teachers’ meeting that the government had announced not to give 18 months’ dearness allowance, city compensation, family welfare incentive allowance, indicating financial crisis. Now even after the financial condition of the government has improved, dearness, city compensation allowance, family welfare allowance is not being given, which is injustice to the teachers / employees. Along with the above, a memorandum of many problems was given earlier, which is not being fulfilled by the government. In this regard, an urgent meeting of Uttar Pradesh Secondary Teachers’ Union was held in Saryu Narayan Bal Vidyalaya Inter College, Azad Nagar, Kanpur City. According to the decision taken in the meeting, on the coming 20 August 2025, a memorandum addressed to the Honorable Chief Minister and Honorable Minister of State for Education (Independent) will be sent through the District School Inspector by staging a dharna at the District School Inspector’s office. Apart from the above, on the coming 16 September 2025, a memorandum addressed to the Honorable Chief Minister and Minister of State for Education Independent Charge will be presented by staging a dharna at the Joint Director of Education Office, Kanpur Division, Kanpur. At present, the National Pay The cases of giving hike will be resolved at the divisional level. More than 30 teacher leaders including State Minister Vinod Chandra Verma attended the meeting. The meeting was conducted by Joint Minister Rajendra Kumar. The meeting was presided over by Provincial President Harischandra Dixit.
