A case was filed against the ration dealer on the complaint of the villagers

Kotedaar Amit Kumar of Gundela village of Rasulabad did not give ration to the card holders from April to June. He made the beneficiaries put their thumb impression on the machine and did not give ration on the pretext of server being down. On the complaint of the villagers, DM Alok Singh assigned the responsibility of investigation to supply inspector Vivek Kanaujia. The investigation revealed that the Kotedaar has no account of 33.08 quintals of wheat, 49.30 quintals of rice and 39 kg of sugar. Many villagers including Ranjit Kumar, Raj Dubey, Raju Gautam, Kitabshree, Sonkali, Janaki, Ramlal and Soni Devi accused the Kotedaar of black marketing of ration. On the basis of the investigation report, a case was registered in Rasulabad police station on the instructions of the DM. Kotwal Harmeet Singh said that further legal action will be taken after investigating the matter.
