On World Population Day, a memorandum addressed to the Prime Minister was handed over, demanding implementation of the two-child law. Sarvesh Shukla Bureau Lucknow Division Lakhimpur Kheri, July 11 โ On the occasion of World Population Day, a delegation led by Brijesh Mishra, District President of Rashtriya Hindu Front (Population Solution Foundation), handed over a memorandum addressed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the District Magistrate. In the memorandum, a demand was made to make a law for population control across the country. Brijesh Mishra said that “India has left China behind in terms of population. If the population continues to grow like this, then in the coming years, farms and greenery will be finished and only concrete jungles will be visible. The growing population is becoming a burden on the country. The message of ‘small family, happy family’ should reach every home today.” He appealed to the Prime Minister to compulsorily implement the two-child law in the country so that the dream of an educated, empowered and developed India can come true. Prominent activists present on the occasion included Anand Agnihotri (District General Secretary), Acharya Sanjay Mishra, Arvind Gupta (District General Secretary), poet Sanjeev Mishra ‘Vyom’, councilor Vikram Gupta, Sanjeev Kumar Mishra, Surendra Mishra, Rakesh Tiwari, Santosh Kumar Mishra ‘Puttan’, Vijay Mishra and other officials. All the activists unanimously said that the population control law is extremely necessary and demanded its inclusion in the Prime Minister’s next ‘Mann Ki Baat’.
