A woman set herself on fire for unknown reasons and was admitted to the district hospital and died during treatment

Mirzapur. In Songarha village of Halia police station area, a woman had set herself on fire by pouring flammable substance on her body on July 15 for unknown reasons. She died today during treatment at Trauma Center Varanasi. As soon as the news of the woman’s death came, there was an uproar among the family members. 28-year-old Shiv Kumari, a resident of Songarha village of Halia police station area, had set herself on fire by pouring flammable substance on her body in her mud house on July 15 in the afternoon for unknown reasons. On hearing the woman’s cries, the family members reached the spot and tried to extinguish the fire but could not control the fire. The woman was taken to Primary Health Center Halia by the family in a critical condition where the doctor referred her after first aid. She was being treated at Trauma Center Varanasi. As soon as the news of the woman’s death came, there was an uproar among the family members. In this regard, the deceased’s brother-in-law Raghavendra said that my younger brother’s wife died during treatment at Trauma Center Varanasi.
