Honorarium stopped due to negligence, serious negligence came to the fore in center operation and following instructions. Ayodhya. Major action has been taken against 23 Anganwadi workers of Amaniganj development block of Ayodhya district. Their honorarium has been stopped on charges of continuous negligence and indiscipline in work. This decision was taken by District Program Officer Ajay Kumar Tripathi on the basis of the report of Child Development Project Officer, Amaniganj. In the statement issued, the District Program Officer said that the Anganwadi workers of Amaniganj were neither opening the center regularly, nor were the center operation, food distribution and nutrition level being fed on the nutrition tracker. Also, the instructions of the office were not followed by the workers nor were they participating in review meetings. This conduct comes under the category of indiscipline. Huge negligence was also found in important tasks like face authentication and e-KYC. The last date for these works was set as 30th June, which was later extended to 15th July. Despite this, the workers showed only 50 percent progress. When no satisfactory change was seen even after repeated instructions and opportunities for improvement, it has been decided to temporarily stop the honorarium of the 23 Anganwadi workers concerned. Now, until these workers enter all the necessary information 100 percent on the nutrition tracker and there is improvement in their work behavior, they will not get honorarium.
