Only 95 cases of malaria have been reported in Ahmedabad in the last five years, it is claimed A target has been set to keep all the areas under the Primary Health Centers and Urban Primary Health Centers of all talukas of Ahmedabad district malaria-free by the year 2030. To control mosquito-borne diseases including malaria, a project to find mosquito breeding sites and spray larvicide using drone technology has been started in Changodar GIDC of Ahmedabad district and Sanathal, Navapura, Changodar, Moraiya, Cha.Vasna, Bol, Shiawada, Charodi areas of Sanand GIDC.
