During the monsoon in Gujarat, all the sanctuaries and national parks of the state will be completely closed for tourists this year as well, like every year, from June 15 for four months, i.e. till October 15-2025. As per the provisions of the Wildlife Protection Act-1972, during the monsoon, situations like flash floods, cyclones and bad roads arise in this area. Moreover, since this period is the breeding season for many species of birds, mammals, reptiles etc., considering the possibility of disruption in that, the Forest Department has banned the entry of tourists to all the sanctuaries and national parks of Gujarat, the Forest Department has said in a notification. While from October 26-2025, all the sanctuaries and national parks will be opened for tourists as usual. It is noteworthy that during this period of ban, no online bookings are being made for tourists to visit these places on any private or government website-portal, which the Forest Department has requested tourists to take special note of.
