Awareness about sugarcane satta demonstration: Officials gave guidelines in Gola mill Gola Gokarnath (Kheri). Now the call for satta demonstration will resonate in every village, sugarcane farmers will get the gift of transparency. An important meeting was organized in the Gola mill premises regarding the village level satta demonstration program under the joint aegis of Bajaj Hindustan Sugar Limited, Gola Sugar Mill and Sugarcane Development Council Gola. In this meeting, many guidelines were given regarding the convenience of farmers and future preparation. In the meeting, Senior Sugarcane Development Inspector Ashutosh Madhukar explained in detail that during the satta demonstration, it would be necessary to clearly explain to the farmers the details mentioned in 63 columns – such as farmer’s mobile number, bank account, Aadhaar, basic quota, tree-plant status, total land etc. He directed the employees to display every information with transparency so that no confusion arises. He also said that the farmers whose basic quota is being cut, must get the receipt of yield increase by 15th September so that there is no hindrance in the upcoming crushing season. On this occasion, Senior General Manager (Sugarcane) P.S. Chaturvedi appealed to the farmers to check all the information given during the satta demonstration carefully. If there is any kind of error or complaint, then get it resolved by submitting an application immediately. He told that from 20th July to 30th August, the employees of the mill and committee will go from village to village and do satta demonstration. It was also informed in the meeting that the farmers of unbonded areas can convert into bonded areas as new members by presenting Khatauni and family splitwara at the time of demonstration itself. The last date for taking membership has been fixed as 30 September, so interested farmers should complete the process before time. For the convenience of farmers, information about the village-wise satta demonstration program has been sent through SMS. In this meeting, Assistant General Manager (Sugarcane) O.D. Sharma, Sugarcane Manager Satyendra Kumar Mishra, Sanjeev Chaudhary and Additional Manager Dheeraj Mishra along with all the employees of the mill and committee were present.
