According to the latest update, children whose Aadhaar cards were made before the age of five will have to get their biometric information, fingerprint and iris as well as face updated before the age of 7. If this is not done, their Aadhaar number will be deactivated. While making Aadhaar in childhood, only information like name, date of birth, address and photo is taken. Because, at that time, their biometric information is not fully developed. This update is also necessary because it can cause problems for children in school entrance exams, scholarships and services like DBT.
