CCTV video is rapidly going viral: Lakhs stolen from businessman’s house, police busy investigating

Auraiya. The video of theft of lakhs of rupees from the house of a businessman in Kiratpur of Bidhuna police station area of the district is becoming increasingly viral on social media today on Saturday. Masked thieves stole cash worth about two lakh rupees from the house of Srinivas Gupta. The thieves captured in the CCTV climbed onto the roof from the back of the house and searched the cupboard with the keys, then went to the shop and stole the piggy bank and change. After the incident, the thieves escaped by climbing down from the top, tying the saree to the angle. When Srinivas’s wife saw the saree lying on the roof on Friday morning, the police was informed. Kotwali in-charge inspector Mukesh Babu Chauhan reached the spot and started investigating the incident. The police is taking action on the basis of CCTV footage to reach the accused soon. The video of the thieves captured in the CCTV of this incident is becoming increasingly viral in the area today on Saturday, due to which the local people are also surprised.
