Fatehpur. Villagers reached the collectorate with a complaint that some people of the village were operating a wood depot by encroaching on Bhumidhari land in village Samatpur Majra Sato Dharampur of Asauthar police station area. They handed over a letter to the DM and raised their voice to get the depot removed and register a report and take legal action. Ram Prasad son of Babu Singh, a resident of village Samatpur Majra Sato Dharampur, reached the collectorate with the villagers and told in the letter given to the DM that Yuvraj, Chandra Kishore, Sanjay Singh, Pappu Singh, Manna Singh, Anil, Pawan Singh, Ujju Singh etc. of the village are criminal and political type of people. They are forcibly keeping a wood depot on his plot number 101. On refusal, they file a false complaint against him and his family at the police station. He told that these people were present on 17th July. When the victim asked them to remove the depot, they started abusing and ran after him with sticks with the intention of hitting him. Not only this, they also threatened to lodge a false complaint at the police station and get a false case registered. They demanded from the DM to get the dumping ground removed and file a report and take legal action. Neeraj, Ram Vishal, Ramashankar, Ram Prasad, Soni Devi, Neelam Devi, Nirmala Devi, Sulochana Devi, Kalavati, Shivdhani were also present on this occasion.
