Demand to increase seats in the Commerce Faculty of MSU in Vadodara and give admission to the remaining 1020 students

NSUI made strong representations to the faculty dean today on the issue of admission of students in the commerce faculty of MS University. This morning, student leaders reached the dean’s office shouting slogans and said that a situation has arisen where 1020 students are still deprived of admission, so offer letters should be sent to all of them and if necessary, the seats should also be increased. The student leaders said that out of 1100 students demanding admission, the university authorities have sent offer letters to only 80, so what about the remaining 1020? They questioned and said that offer letters were sent to only 54 after asking for admission in the second phase. 300 has been collected from the students deprived of admission per form. They submitted an application to the dean of the commerce faculty and threatened to lock down the faculty with agitation if no decision is taken on this issue. Meanwhile, faculty sources said that as previously decided, it was decided to grant admission to those who could not pay the fees due to technical errors or internet problems after checking the applications received by June 9. Now, the admission committee is checking the records of the remaining students and will take a decision in a day or so.
