Bhavnagar: With the appointment of a permanent vice-chancellor in M.K.Bhav. University, the administration has turned lazy and has started filling up the vacant posts of professors and administrative staff in the seven faculties operating in the university. In the near future, the recruitment process will be carried out for 180 posts of both. In various buildings of the university, work is being done with one or two professors against the approved 73 posts. While in colleges too, there is a situation where many teaching staff posts are vacant and study work has to be done by visiting faculty, while consideration is being given to increasing the approved posts. A similar situation is also in the non-teaching (administrative) department. According to the new act, some new posts have also been approved. In which about 80 posts of non-teaching are vacant. Since the vacancies are affecting the work, the university has started preparations to fill approximately 180 vacancies in both. For this, the work of certifying the roster and making recruitment rules and guidelines has also been started. In addition, a total of six vacancies in the officer category including Executive Engineer, Examination Director, Account Officer are also currently vacant. Action has also been started with this. If this recruitment process is completed, the university buildings and colleges will also get new energy.
