Fertilizer shop of a relative of Additional District Agriculture Officer posted in Sitapur sealed due to over-rating, two samples also seized A case of urea over-rating has come to light in a shop operated in Godna Pakriya village under Nakaha block of Lakhimpur Kheri district. This fertilizer shop was operated in the name of a relative of Additional District Agriculture Officer Dr. Manoj Kumar posted in Sitapur. On receiving information on Wednesday evening, Additional District Agriculture Officer of Lakhimpur Kheri Satyaveer Singh raided this fertilizer shop, which was running in the name of Beti Enterprises. The shop was sealed by the Additional District Agriculture Officer after taking two fertilizer samples from the shop. *Action taken at other places as well* District Agriculture Officer Surya Pratap Singh said that on the instructions of the Chief Development Officer, raids were conducted at many places in the district. The license of Secunderabad Gyan Khad Bhandar was immediately cancelled after less stock of fertilizer was found. Apart from this, a complaint of over-rating was also received against Rajvanshi Traders, but before the team reached, the owner of the shop closed the shop and absconded, but later his license was also cancelled.
