Gujarat Monsoon Rain Update: Due to the changing weather conditions in the entire state for the last three to four days, the temperature is also decreasing as if the monsoon season is starting in full swing. With the onset of the monsoon season, 81 talukas have received rainfall since 6:00 am today (June 21). The highest rainfall has been recorded in Jambughoda of Panchmahal. According to the report of the State Emergency Operation Center (SEOC), 5 inches of rainfall has been recorded in Pavijetpur of Chhota Udepur, 3.5 inches in Petlad of Anand and 2.7 inches in Halol. Apart from this, 3.0 inches of rainfall has been recorded in Kaprada of Valsad and more than 2.7 inches of rainfall has also been recorded in Tarapur of Anand. In other talukas of the state, in the last 24 hours, Anand city received 2.0 inches of rain, Tarapur 2.7 inches and Borsad 2.5 inches, while Jaghadiya in Bharuch received 2.4 inches, and Halol in Panchmahal received 2.7 inches of rain. Apart from this, 9 talukas of the state received more than one inch of rain while 51 talukas received less than one inch of rain. Thus, a total of 81 talukas in the state received rain during the last 24 hours.
