In the month of June, several areas of the state, including Saurashtra and South Gujarat, have received heavy rains. While the intensity of the rain has decreased for the past few days, the Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains with thunder in scattered places of the state till July 17. In which the intensity of the rain is likely to increase in North and Central Gujarat from July 14. According to the Meteorological Department’s forecast, a yellow alert has been issued for heavy rains in Navsari, Valsad, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Aravalli, Mahisagar, Dahod districts on July 12-13. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in more than 11 districts, including North and Central Gujarat, on July 14-15. In which heavy rains are predicted in Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Mehsana, Aravalli, Mahisagar, Dahod, Panchmahal, Chhota Udepur, Narmada, Navsari, Valsad districts. While heavy rains with thundershowers are predicted at isolated places in Banaskantha, Sabarkantha and Aravalli districts on July 16-17.
