Jasprit Bumrah created history by taking five wickets at Lord’s, broke Kapil Dev’s record

Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has performed brilliantly in the Lord’s Test match against England. Bumrah gave away 74 runs in 23 overs and took five wickets in England’s first innings. Bumrah bowled Harry Brook, Joe Root, Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer. Then he got Chris Woakes caught behind the wicket. Due to Bumrah’s brilliant bowling, England’s first innings ended at 387 runs. Bumrah has taken five wickets in a Test innings for the first time at Lord’s. Bumrah’s name has now been registered on the Lord’s Honors Board as per tradition. Jasprit Bumrah has now become the Indian bowler with the most five-wicket hauls abroad. Bumrah has taken five or more wickets in a Test innings abroad for the 13th time. Bumrah has left behind former captain Kapil Dev, who had achieved this feat 12 times. Ishant Sharma (9 times) is at third place in this regard. Saprit Bumrah has taken 5 wicket hauls in Test cricket for the 11th time in SENA (South Africa, England, New Zealand and Australia) countries. Bumrah has now come in joint first place in terms of taking the most five wicket hauls in Test cricket by an Asian bowler in SENA countries. Bumrah has equaled former Pakistan captain Wasim Akram. Akram also took five or more wickets in a Test innings in SENA countries 11 times. Sri Lanka’s Muttiah Muralitharan is at third place in this regard with five wicket hauls.
