According to the information received by the District LCB, a truck was found parked in the parking lot of Shraddha Hotel near Kapurai Chowkdi on the outskirts of Vadodara. During the inspection, a person was found present in the truck, whose name was Mohsin Khan Ilyas Khan Pathan Mewati (Resident of Salaheri Chhota Saheb Moholla, Ta.G. Nuhu, Haryana). The arrested person started asking about the goods loaded in the truck. So, the door of the truck was opened and while inspecting the inside, boxes of foreign liquor of different brands of Indian manufacture were found, including 8268 liquor bottles worth Rs. 40.85 lakhs, and a total of Rs. 50.90 lakhs were seized and further investigation was conducted. During questioning of the arrested persons, it was revealed that the quantity of liquor was sold on 13/07/25. Rohtak, Haryana had provided a truck full of boxes of Indian-made foreign liquor from Dosa, Rajasthan on the Delhi-Mumbai highway and asked them to call upon reaching Vadodara, Gujarat.
