A review meeting was held under the chairmanship of State Health Minister and Minister in-charge of Anand district, Hrishikeshbhai Patel, regarding the inspection of bridges in Anand district, disaster management and repair work of roads damaged due to heavy rains. In this meeting, District Collector Praveen Chaudhary informed the Minister in-charge about the damage caused due to heavy rains on bridges and roads in Anand district and the patchwork and resurfacing work done within the stipulated time for road repair. In addition, the District Collector also presented the notification regarding the restricted roads and details of various roads in the district to the Minister. On this occasion, the Minister in-charge also obtained details of various structures under the Road and Building Department and various structures under the Irrigation and Water Resources Department in the district and reviewed the work done accordingly and made guiding suggestions. Further, the Minister in-charge emphasized on the urgent repair of the remaining roads so that the citizens do not face any hardship during the rainy season. In this meeting, Deputy Chief Constable Ramanbhai Solanki, MLAs Sarveshree, Yogeshbhai Patel, Kamleshbhai Patel, Vipulbhai Patel, Govindbhai Parmar and other office bearers, District Leader Sanjaybhai Patel, Municipal Commissioner Milind Bapna, District Development Officer Sushmi Devahuti, District Superintendent of Police Gaurav Jasani, Resident Additional Collector R. S. Desai and other district officials were present.
