Meta’s big action, 10 million Facebook accounts closed

Meta has informed about a major action, in which the company has blocked 1 crore accounts. The company has deleted all these accounts in the first six months of this year, which the company has named Spammy Content. In fact, the company aims to make the Facebook feed more relevant, clean and authentic. Especially when the scope of AI generated content on the social media platform is growing so rapidly. The company said that fake accounts allegedly want to take advantage of Facebook’s algorithm and audience reach. For which they try to duplicate the accounts of content creators. Giving more information about this, the company said that action has been taken against 5 lakh other accounts due to incorrect activity. Which says that these accounts were involved in spam, bot-like engagement and content recycling. Meta said in its blog post that Meta has given information about a new policy to reward original content creators who create unique images or videos. Along with this, the company will now use techniques to detect duplicate content and reduce its reach. Meta has taken this action at a time when the company itself is working on AI infrastructure on a large scale. Along with this, ECO Mark Zuckerberg has planned to spend a large amount of money to develop its supercomputing capabilities and launch the first AI super cluster next year.
